Prince Ned Nwoko departed the United Kingdom for Nigeria in the year 1998, he represented the Aniocha / Oshimili federal constituency at the House of Representatives between 1999 to 2003. He contested for the post of Delta State Governor which he lost to James Ibori. In 2011, he lost a senatorial election to Ifeanyi Okowa, the present Governor of Delta State. He won a senatorial election in the last election but he lost the mandate due to Supreme Court judgment that was given against him. He is known for his philanthropic gestures.
