As a Christian, Will You Let God Choose a Husband or Wife For You?

BishopCharlie 06/29/2020

SOMEONE SAID, "God will not choose your spouse. If God did not impose salvation (which is eternal), how then can he make a choice of whom you should marry (which is temporary)

God will parade options before you. You are to choose the ones that is best suited for your assignment"

MY RESPONSE:

The above statement may make sense to some since it is "common sense" but it does not make any "spiritual sense".

If we actually understand the meaning of GIVING OUR LIVES TO CHRIST, we won't even consider asking this question...

"Does God Choose A Husband Or Wife For You?"

So many things to say but I decided to keep it real simple.

"Well I love the salvation analogy.

You get saved when you decide to let God into your life.

Want a purposeful marriage?

Let God in

God will not choose for you if you don't let Him choose for you but if you let Him choose for you, you will enjoy a productive, purposeful and fulfilling marriage.

Like salvation, yes God does not impose

But wisdom demands that The One who knows all things before they even become things knows better than we with our limited perspective.

God did save you to leave you to live life as you please

The meaning of Jesus being your Lord is that He should be the One who defines Good and Evil not you.

Remember the Fall in the beginning, the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil.

The implication of eating of that tree is deciding that man can define what is good and what is evil. GREAT ERROR!

The consequence of that is frustration and toiling. GOD'S REST is ours to enjoy if we let Him run our lives.

That is the implication of eating of tree of life, who for us is Christ.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. (Phil 2:5) and learn to say "Nevertheless not my will but your will be done", not just in marriage but in every area of your life.

Then you shall enjoy THE Rest that God has given you in Christ. Blessings"

THE REAL QUESTION IS...

"WILL YOU LET GOD CHOOSE A HUSBAND OR WIFE FOR YOU?"

After all is said and done it really is up to you.
