Good News As FG Lift Ban On Interstate Movement And Reopen Schools.
The secretary to the federation Boss Mustapha made this known today during the daily briefing of presidential taskforce on covid-19 in Abuja today.
According to his statement, student in primary 6, Jss3 and SS3 will be allowed to return to class.
According to Boss president Buhari gave the order today when his team met with him on daily briefing on covid-19 earlier today.
His statement read thus; " I am pleased to inform you that Mr. President has carefully considered the 5th interim of the presidential taskforce and has approved that with the exception of some modifications to be expatiated upon later, the phase two of the eased lockdown will be extended by 4 weeks with effect from Tuesday, June 30 2020 through midnight of Monday 29 2020".
He however said that the following effect shall remain or come into effect. That's maintaining the current phase of the national response for another four weeks in line with the modification to be expatiated by the national coordinator;
Permission of movement acrose state borders only outside curfew hours and this will take effect from July 1st 2020.
Again they will be enforcement of laws around non pharmaceutical interventions by states particularly the use of face mask in public places.
Finally safe reopening of schools in other to allow graduating student resume classes in preparation for their exams.
