APC Leadership: Victor Giadom Officially Hands Over To Governor Mai Mala Buni As Caretaker Chairman
The former Acting National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Mr. Victor Giadom has officially handed over power to Governor of Yobe State, Mr. Mai Mala Buni who President Muhammadu Buhari appointed as the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the party. At the ceremony which took place at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, Mr. Giadom thanked President Buhari and the leadership of the National Working Committee for rescuing the party.

In his speech, Governor Buni appealed to All APC members with pending lawsuits to withdraw them in the interest of the party just like President Buhari advised them to do. He said that the setting up of the Caretaker Committee will mark the beginning of a new chapter of the party. It could be recalled that the APC last week had a serious leadership crisis which saw three Acting National Chairmen emerged in one day. President Buhari at the last NEC meeting of the party dissolved the National Working Committee of the party and appointed Governor of Yobe State Mai Mala Buni as the Caretaker Chairman.
