BREAKING: APC NEC Ratifies Ize-Iyamu As Edo Gov’ship Candidate
View pictures in App save up to 80% data. Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu's candidature as the Gubernatorial flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, during this year's election in Edo state, has been ratifed by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party, on Thursday, in Abuja.
Also, President Buhari has directed all members of the All Progressives Congress to discontinue all ongoing litigations, and withdraw them from the cours immediately, as continuation of such will affect the party.
In a tweet on the twitter handle of the Personal Assistant to the President, Bashir Ahmad, the National Executive Council of All Progressives Congress, APC, in a meeting attended by the President, Muhammadu Buhari, his Vice, Yemi Osibajo, the state Governors, members of the National Working Committee of the party, the convener, embattled Chief Victor Giadom, and other members of the Council, ratifed the candidature of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
It will be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari had earlier, during the meeting called for the dissolution of the party's National Working Committee, which was thereafter, adopted by the National Executive Council, and an interim Caretaker Committee recommended to run the affairs of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
