BREAKING: Buhari dissolves APC National Working Committee, NWC
View pictures in App save up to 80% data. The nation's ruling party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, has dissolved its National Working Committee (NWC), and appointed the Governor of Yobe state, as the caretaker Chairman of the party.
In a tweet on the official handle of the Personal Assistant to the President on News Media, Mallam Bashir Ahmad, on Thursday, the decision was made at the National Executive Council meeting of the party held in Abuja. View pictures in App save up to 80% data.
According to Bashir, the decision to appoint the Governor of Yobe state, Mai Mala Buni, as the Chairman of the party's Caretaker Committee, was also taken the NEC meeting which was attended by President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, APC state Governors, the embattled Deputy National Secretary of APC, Victor Giadom, and some members of the APC National Working Committee, NWC.
Bashir tweeted, “Following the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been dissolved.”
