Death is indeed inevitable. It's a sad news to the people of Oyo State, All Progressive Congress and Nigeria as a whole to receive the death news of Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi, the immediate past governor of Oyo state and the serving Deputy National Chairman of APC before death took him to the final destination of man. Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi was indeed a fighter and a good man who love his immediate family, extended family and the people of Oyo state at large. May his soul rest in perfect peace. Late Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi who was married to Dr (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi and blessed with 5 children helped his wife while on earth to attain a reasonable peak before his demise.

Dr (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi, the wife of the late Ajimobi is a visionary woman who worked diligently, honestly and wholeheartedly to attain all she got today. I might be pouring out this out of emotion, but believe me, I am typing nothing but a truth of the true picture of the Ajimobi's.

Florence Ajimobi started a well known supermarket in Ibadan, Surulere and Lekki today known as "Grandex Stores" in 1984 in a small shop opposite Iyaganku Magistrate Court in Ibadan. This woman worked so hard and from there, she started expanding and located another branch is Surulere, Lagos which she later made the headquarter of her store as at then.

Little by little, when Late Abiola Ajimobi came in as governor is his first tenure in 2011, the O'dua people who manages the cocoa house, the tallest building in Nigeria formed a coalition and built a mall beside the cocoa house in Dugbe with the approval of Ajimobi as the then governor. The malled was named cocoa mall which ShopRite rented and became the chief tenant of the mall till date. This cocoa mall was built together with Heritage Mall (Thou many people don't know this). Two mall were built together in Dugbe with different names(Cocoa Mall and Heritage Mall). Florence Ajimobi rented shops in the mall and her store started expanding. She closed down are first store in Iyaganku, Ibadan amd changed it to storehouse. Things started going on smoothly with her business, especially when her husband became the governor. She never relented, another mall was built in ringroad named "Palms Mall" with the approval of her husband as governor then too. The Palms Mall which ShopRite is also a Chief Tenant there happen to be a well modernised mall that captures sales too well. Dr (Mrs) Ajimobi took it upon herself again to rent two stores joined together in the Palms Mall again and she continue expanding.

In business, the more you're expanding the better you stand on your own. Florence Ajimobi wanted to become her own landlord in Ibadan, she then built her own supermarket in New Bodija, opposite Afe Babalola Complex and moved her goods from the Dugbe store down to her permanent (new) site in Bodija and then closed down the Dugbe branch.

Additionally, she got another branch for her store in Lagos, Lekki in particular making two branches in Lagos (Surulere and Lekki)

Conclusively, Florence Ajimobi wanted move out of the Palms Mall in ringroad, she then built another permanent site in ringroad, Ibadan. Florence Ajimobi successfully have two branches of this supermarket in Ibadan and two in Lagos State. May the soul of her deceased husband res in peace.
