Mr Onah said: "Maurice Emeka Akueme and Maurice Akueme Foundation is the reason many Enugu and Nigerian youths who were once jobless are currently with job and we'll doing, too.

"Choice of Maurice Emeka Akueme as NACESS didn't come by mere decision of the council but a decision anchored on his humanitarian outreach nature. Sir Maurice Emeka Akueme has touched, few are the ones he knows, major are those he never knew how and when he touched their lives greatly."

According to a young whose Facebook handle reads Eze Chinecherem Godswill: "the United Kingdom-based accountant and Tax Consultant, Maurice Emeka Akueme, has unknowingly become the toast of many youths in the South East State of Enugu and by extension, to some of their counterparts in Benue and Cross River States. The reason for Akueme’s new status as darling of these thousands of youngsters who speak glowingly about him is his large-heartedness.

Mr Chinecherem in his insight to the benevolent nature of the birthday Udi true son cited Spotlight thus, "over the years the former banker has turned a super social entrepreneur affecting the lives of others through his Maurice Akueme Foundation (MAF), a Non-Governmental Organisation he floated in 2016.

"Akueme has used the organisation as a vehicle to get many youths engaged and attain their full potentials.

"It’s on record that the stylish philanthropist —who has also been assisting his fellow compatriots in the United Kingdom to get by— has helped dozens of these youngsters through school while others got trained at an ICT Centre he set up.

"His most recent intervention that has been on everyone’s lips was his COVID-19 outreach in the 17 Local Government Areas of Enugu State. It was learnt that aside from sending stipends to hundreds of youths across the State, the social entrepreneur has donated food items, drugs and toiletries worth millions of naira to his people in Udi homestead and three other LGAs in Enugu State. "The most inspiring aspect of Akueme’s generosity is that he goes about it quietly, seeking little recognition. Owing to his multi-sectorial interventions, the leadership of the National Council of Enugu State Students (NACESS) has declared Akueme a silent achiever and humanitarian."

NACESS, on behalf of all Enugu State students and the indigent people of Nigeria whose salient and heart reaching benevolence of Maurice Emeka Akueme has left unceasing smile on faces that once knew no hope nor smile said big thanks to MAF-NATION.

Mr Joseph Onyemaechi Onah said: "No man nor group can thank and appreciate Maurice Emeka Akueme enough for his kindness and cheerful demonstrations which has changed many lives for good except God. Only God can appreciate him enough for his humanitarian gestures. Many youths and Students of Nigeria who could had been left with no option than to take to anti-social activities to make ends meet are have been given skills and we'll fixed by Maurice Akueme Foundation (MAF).

"We pray that God in His ever running spring of love and mercy keep keeping and blessing Emeka Akueme for always being their for the poor and Enugu State students. May his streams of income never run dry. We wish NACESS Patron, Sir Maurice Emeka Akueme as hearty happy birthday as he marks his birthday today being".
