Last weekend, My fiancee told me that she was very bored and so I promised to take her on an outing within the week. However, I forgot and she had to call me during the week to remind me.

To be very honest, I had no agenda or plan to go out that evening but because I didn't want to disappoint, I got dressed up and drove my car to her place.

After picking her up, we stopped over at a filling station to get petrol for my car. The silly mistake I made was that I paid the fuel attendant even before she started filling my car tank.

After the girl finished, I turned on the ignition and was about driving off when the girl started raising her voice; "Oga! you never pay me o!" Shouting and creating an embarrassing scene that I have not paid her. I tried to explain that I did before she started, but she was adamant and people gathered.

Instead of my woman to stand by me and support me, knowing that she saw when I gave the girl the money, the only thing she could say was that I should give the girl another N5,000.

The attendant said; "ehen! even aunty na my witness say you never pay". Instead of my fiancee to say something, do you know that she quietly got down from the vehicle, crossed the road, entered keke (tricycle) and went back to her house? Yes! she left me there and went back home, allowing me to sort myself out.

When the noise became too much, the manager of the filling station came out and everything was narrated to him. He asked the girl who owns the money that she was holding? The fuel attendant said it was the N5,000 he (the manager) asked her to bring, and that I was here claiming that I was the one who gave her the money.

The manager smiled and told her; "You have given me N5,000 in my office when you came to charge your phone. This must be this man’s money". And that was how the matter was quickly settled and they both apologized to me.

After bearing the whole trouble alone, I called my sweetheart and she said she had gone back home, and that what is ordinary N5,000 that I was making noise and embarrassing us both in public for?

After getting over the shock, I calmly sent her a text message, telling her officially that it was over between us. Although, we have done introduction but due to COVID-19 we suspended other things.

My fiancee's people said that I was over reacting and acting immature. Please, how did I overreact? Did I really overreact? What if they had killed me over there and my only witness, which was her, left me to die?

How can my wife to be confidently abandon me in the midst of such crisis? Do you think such a person stand by me in future? Right now, there are too many things running through my mind.

She is 31 years old, and it's not like she’s a baby. Do you think I overreacted by breaking up with her?

Please I need your advice.

She's partly a thief who has been conniving with that same pump attendant to steal other motorist,so marry her at your own peril.
