It is a game of wits as we fast approach the September 19th elections.

With Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu flying the APC ticket and Obaseki brandishing the PDP's flag, it is surely a game to finish.

As Obaseki moved over to PDP some staunch supporters of Obaseki have refused to cross over with him, no fewer than 10 Special Advisers have declined to move along with Obaseki and tendered their resignation letter.

A few days ago Adesotu a former commissioner in the State resigned his appointment as a board chairman to join the APC candidate Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu for his quest to govern the State.

The resignations which are coming in droves is sure to unsettle Obaseki and the PDP.

The latest aide to tender his resignation is Fulani Yakubu Ekpe Young.

In his resignation letter, the Senior Special Adviser to Obaseki cited the developmental strides of APC in his locality as reasons for dumping Obaseki.

According to him Adams Oshiomhole's time as Edo State governor brought about massive development to his constituency.
