David De Gea - 6

Largely untroubled with Sheffield United taking a whopping 83 minutes to force the Spaniard to make his first save.

Luke Shaw - 6

A little slow at times and the Blades clearly had a plan to target Shaw throughout game.

Harry Maguire - 7.5

Maguire read the game well and ensured Manchester United's constant dominance in the air.

Victor Lindelof - 7

Cool, calm and collected, the Swede was alert every time Sheffield Utd were trying to put a dangerous ball into the box.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 7

Wan-Bissaka worked on improving his attacking display during lockdown and the Englishman was rewarded with an assist to Martial's second goal.

Nemanja Matic - 7.5

The Serb kept things tidy in midfield, allowing Bruno and Pogba to focus on creating chances for the forwards.

Paul Pogba - 9

Pogba appears to be finally back to his best, pulling the strings all over the pitch on his first start since September 30.

Marcus Rashford - 7

Rashford wasted two big changes in the first half but made up for it by assisting two of Martial's three goals.

Bruno Fernandes - 7

Not his greatest game for Man United by all accounts but the Portuguese still managed to impress alongside Pogba.

Mason Greenwood - 6

Greenwood started the game well but failed to make an impact with Martial stealing the spotlight.

Anthony Martial - 10

The Frenchman was simply on fire at Old Trafford, scoring Man United's first Premier League hat-trick since 2013.

Subs: Mata, McTominay, Ighalo, Pereira and James didn't really have time to make an impact.
