Dubai based socialite, Raymond Abbas also known as Hushpuppi, Olalekan Jacob Ponle also known as Woodbery and eleven others have been arrested by Dubai police on allegations of fraud.

According to reports from Guff news, it was on Thursday that the Dubai police confirmed their arrest following an extensive operation dubbed "Fox Hunt 2", this revealed a hidden online fraud network that was committing crimes outside UAE, including money laundering, cyber fraud, hacking, criminal impersonation, banking fraud and identify theft.

It has also been reported that the successful raid resulted in confiscation of incriminating documents pertaining to a well planned International fraud, worth Dh1.6 billion (N168 Billion).

All Gucci master Hushpuppi's cars, jewelries, designer clothes and every single thing valuable that Hushpuppi bought, including his multi Billion naira estate that he was building in one African country has been tracked down and seized.

The success of the operation is another feather in the cap of Dubai police, stating that the culprits will soon face the full weight of the law, says Commander in Chief of Dubai police, Lt General Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri.
