Popular Nollywood actress, Toni Tones has come out to say that the culture of bride price in Nigeria needs to be abolished. 

According to the "King Of Boys" actress, women are not property to be bought and sold.

She made her thoughts known in a post via her official Twitter handle.

"Scrap bride price culture. Women are not property to be bought* and sold."

The 35-year-old actress is one of the fresh names taking over the scene in Hollywood. Born the last child in a family of five, Tones real name Gbemi Anthonia Adefuye, completed her secondary education at Queens College, Lagos. 

She then went on to the University of Lancaster in the UK where she bagged a degree in marketing and economics.

Her breakout role is unarguably came playing the role of the younger Eniola Salami in the 2018 Kemi Adetiba-directed blockbuster, King Of Boys. She earned quite the number of accolades playing the younger version of Sola Sobowale's character.
