Nigerians have turned to the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to react to D’banj’s indictment, Seyitan Babalola’s official statement.

It all started when Seyitan accused the singer of abusing her in 2018. After her story, she was suspected of being arrested and detained by police on the orders of Mobolowon’s criminal.

A tweet was even posted on her account denying her arrest by the singer, which many said was from D’banj.

Following the events of the last few days, Seyitan issued a statement confirming that the singer was arrested and that he was released after signing a dizzying order by the police and the singer’s team.

The young woman added that she has now taken the services of a law firm in Abuja to handle her case. She also thanked those who gathered around her for supporting her during the period, while stressing that they had given her N1.6m.

Some Nigerian men reacted to the issue as they expressed surprise at the way women can come together to support Seyitan.

In other news, we previously reported that Dbanj said he was innocent until he pleaded guilty after sharing an energetic dance video amid his abuse scandal.

He went to his Instagram page to give a forceful statement about his innocence amid the ongoing scandal of sexual abuse surrounding him. The singer was seen dressed in style while vigorously dancing to his hit 2008 song, Olorun Maje.

A dancing Danbanco could be seen writing the lyrics to his song that spoke of how the enemies were trying to overthrow him and how the Lord he serves would not allow it.

The singer was also seen stamping his feet on the ground as he jumped, an action that suggested he was stepping on his enemies.
