The herb known as Irawo Ile among the Yoruba's in Southwestern Nigeria is called Girdle pod in English whose botanical name is Mitracarpus Scaber. It is called Gudugal in Hausa and Obuobwa or Ogwungwo in Igbo. It is a common perennial herb with a height of 30cm.
