Police Arrest Robbers That Storm Filling Station In Akure During Late Hours

It was reported that there was an armed robbery attack in a filling station in Akure Ondo State.

However, Tee-Leo Ikoro, the spokesperson of the state's police said a filling station was attacked during late hours of the evening by suspect robbers, at Oba-Ile highway of the city.

Though the armed robbers were unable to steal from the filling station, this force residents to run for their safety and which led to commotion in the area.

Two suspects were arrested few distance from the filling station in regard to the robbery incident, however the police are tracking two other suspect who fled.

A Dane gun and a rifle with some cartridges, and live projectile were recovered from the two robbery suspects.

Ikoro announced;

"With the immediate response of policemen, two of the armed criminals have been apprehended.

"Ondo State have not experienced much crime, that is to notify you that the level of corruption in Ondo State is very minimal, and with this incident, our men quickly swung into action, resulting in the arrest of two of the robbers." View pictures in App save up to 80% data.
