Sequel to the announcement made by the honourable Minister of Humanitarian and Disaster Management, Hajia Sadiya Farouq few days ago that the 2020 batch C Npower recruitment exercise shall commence on the 26th of June 2020, intending volunteers across the 36 states have been wandering on how to beat off competition from millions of other applicants who will be competing for the few available slots in the programme. However, as an existing beneficiary of the program, I deem it fit to dish out some necessary information that can drastically affect an applicant chance of being selected. Some of the basic information that should be well noted by any applicant include the following; View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

1. Applicants should make sure all necessary information are filled-out correctly: All applicants must be informed that their high-heeled ability to fill all the required details correctly goes a long way in determining whether they're going to be selected or not. For instance, wrong name arrangements alone can put an end to an applicant hope of being a beneficiary of the program thus applicants must arrange their names the same way it was documented in their respective banks. Also, it must be noted that the first name is not the same as the surname in an official settings, the surname is supposed to be the last name hence such mistake should be avoided. Moreover, being able to distinguish between confusing details such as 'home address' and 'residential address', 'local government of origin' and 'local government of residence' are also some of the necessary information that must be adequately taken care of by the applicants. Also, as an applicant, it's good to back up crucial details such as username and password that may be needed later during the next phase of the recruitment exercise. 2. Applicants should be careful when uploading their credentials and bank information on the website: All documents must be uploaded based on the instructions given on the website during the course of the registration and on no account must an applicant upload a photocopied credentials while filling the form. Moreover, all applicants must make sure their bank details and Bank Verification Number (BVN) are being correctly filled coupled with using only the phone number that was submitted to their respective banks during the course of their registration or else such applicant may not be paid for months even if he or she is eventually selected for the programme. 3. Applicants must be smart with their aptitude Test: As an applicant, Before you login to write your test on the website, make sure you have a very good network coverage to avoid delay while loading your questions. Try to finish your test as early as possible because staying longer on the test may create an impression that you are googling the answers thus increase your chance of being penalized. In fact, it's not compulsory you score all the test question given, what is very Important is to make sure you stay as honest as possible while writing the test.

4. Other Information: Apart from the aforementioned tips, good timing in submitting your application form coupled with the local government of origin you claimed during the course of your application really matters a lot to boost your selection chance. For instance, while I was applying for the programme in 2016, I nearly quarrelled with a friend of mine that was helping me with the registration for delaying the submission of my application form but being a computer expert, he always made me realize that majority of the softwares designed by programmers for online application form do run on 'auto-piling' up of documents i.e, the later you submit your form, the better the chance you're going to get in being selected. Finally, as touching the issue of local government, your chance of being selected in a local government having over 100,000 applicants may be small compared to another local government where less than 8000 applicants submitted the application form. However, if you have two local government identification letters, it's advisable you submit your form through the one that appeared less populous compared to the other one.
