Fatai Oyedele - The Man Who Travelled 100 Kilometers To Attempt Suicide

Oyedele, who is a clothes trader, traveled all the way to Abeokuta from his residence in Tourist Estate, Obere-Atan/Ota in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the state which is roughly 100 km in order to commit suicide.

Ogundele wanted to commit suicide by drowning in a river in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital. He arrived at the river just an hour past midnight , between 1:00am and 1:15am to carry out his negative act.

He succeeded in jumping into the river but he was pulled out by the timely intervention of passers by and taken immediately to the nearest police station which is the Adigbe police station , Abeokuta for further questioning. A bottle of sniper was also recovered from him which apparently he didn't get to use . View pictures in App save up to 80% data. Could it be hardship that made him want to commit suicide and leave five children behind. Perhaps he was a single father or maybe not. We'll get to the root of the matter soon.

But from his actions it's clear that not only he want to commit suicide, he wanted to disappear, hence the travelling the long distance and the drowning scheme.

this guy wrote rubbish how can there be passersby by 1 am and 1 15 am that is midnight it appears that there are no editors for this news opera I can volunteer to be an editor if you don't mind
