Due to the high pressure being mounted on the Federal government by parents and students concerning the suspension of schools, the Federal ministry of education has proposed that schools must provide isolation spaces before reopening.
This was included in the guidelines which was submitted to the National Assembly on Tuesday, concerning reopening of schools after the corona virus pandemic.
It was disclosed that every school is expected to create a temporary isolation spaces and well-equipped clinic before reopening, so that any student, teacher or any other education person that becomes ill while in school can be medicated.
Furthermore, the Federal government in the other hand, has mandated any state planning to reopen schools to hold adequate consultations with the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 and the parents.
School owners has also been mandated to provide soap and water for hand washing, ensure a constant supply of learning and instructional materials, and pay salaries on time.
