According to reports, he died 6 days after the rumor of his death went viral on all social media platforms.

Ajimobi who was as of late delegated as the Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress by the National Working Committee of the Party kicked the bucket due to Coronavirus complexities. 

The previous lawmaker became sick in the wake of testing positive to Coronavirus and was accounted for to be in a basic condition before the hour of his passing. 

He managed Oyo State for a long time before he was selected by Adams Oshiomhole as the Deputy National Chairman (South-West) of APC. 

Ajimobi was a previous Managing chief at the National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company, an auxiliary of Shell Petroleum Company.
