Nigerian Man Arrested After Undergoing A Failed Suicide Mission

A Nigerian man has been arrested in Abeokuta for a failed suicide mission he attempted on Wednesday afternoon. The man was said to be seen jumping into the Ogun river in order to commit suicide but was prevented from taking his life by the villagers who saw him.

Fatai Oyedele (36), who was a clothe seller and also a father of 5 children would have taken his life due to his inability to provide effectively for himself and his family. He left his community in Atan-Ota area to Abeokuta where he intends to execute his plan.

The man took sniper along with him on the mission but do not have courage to drink it. He however kept the sniper with him as he jumped into the river. Onlookers who witnessed the suspicious action the man was taking quickly contact the security in the area. The men also jumped into the river to rescue him.
