Uface 06/26/2020

The cases of Rapes in Nigeria is getting out of hands no doubt. The violent against women in our society is a sign of evil. The continuous nature of the crime is a sign that our society is sick. Many times, i have tried to avoid writing anout rape cases because of my inability to control my emotion, most especially when it has to do with minors like in this case.

One, and the most painful aspect of it all is that, there are women that are ready to accept you just the way you are. There are women that are even ready to cloth you as a man. How on Earth will an old man find pleasure/urge in baby of three years, is yet to be comprehend.

A 27 years old Ahmedu Yaro in Adogi community in Nasarawa State has been arrested by Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) operatives recently for raping a three years old baby in the village. According to the mother of the baby, her baby and her cell phone got missing after she slept off in the night with her door open. After she wake up and couldn't find her daughter and the phone, she raised an alarm. The Compound people were said to have gathered and started looking for the baby that night. The baby was later found in an uncompleted building in the community. There were blood all over her and her pant was aside when the villagers got to the place. Isn't that painful. Isn't that a sign of evil in our society? Stealing someone's child just to rape her is nothing but a sign that the man is a devil in human skin.

NSCDC was involved in the case that night. The operatives of the security body swung ino action and the rapist was arrested. After several hours of investigation. It was said that the man has done something like that before but not security body was involved in the case. View pictures in App save up to 80% data. View pictures in App save up to 80% data. It is so painful to see a thing like this happening continuously in our society. We have failed women in all ramifications. This man should be teached a lesson of his life. He should be used as a scapegoat. His case should send a signal to others that rape is a big Criminal offense in Nigeria. This very one shouldn't be sweep under the carpet.

The baby has since been taken to Hospital in Plateau State where she is receiving treatment.

What do you think should be a punishment for rapists in Nigeria?
