11 Cancer Causing Drinks You Need to Avoid

Cancer is one of the most dreaded diseases out there, until we treat it, cancer still wins for hours. And the treatment itself is completely cruel, leaving painful side effects even when the disease is outdated.

Prevention is therefore a major problem. We need to do everything we can to reduce our risk of developing cancer, even though we understand that it only happens once in a while.

You probably know the importance of healthy eating when it comes to cancer prevention. But what is less mentioned is the role drinks can play.

Some drinks may also increase your risk and are better avoided. Some of these will surprise you!

1. Tap water

Water infrastructure in the United States is aging and underdeveloped. Instead, the government called for the use of toxic chemicals to "cleanse" harmful biological pollutants. A commonly used chemical is chlorine, but it is less harmful than some of the other substances found in our faucet.

For example, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) is a disinfectant by-product that is 1,000 times more toxic than chlorine. The Environmental Working Group is a conservation agency that tests the foods and drinks we commonly eat.

It found potential human carcinogens in each tap water tested in 43 states. This puts the value of a water filtration jug in perspective, right?

2. Water bottles

First, bottled water can actually come from a municipal source, no matter how beautiful the image of a mountain stream is on the label.

But the most harmful element in bottled water is the bottle itself. Disposable plastic is not only an environmental disaster, it also leaks harmful chemicals into everything it holds.

One well-known example is bisphenol-A or BPA. This chemical is used in many bottles of plastic water, despite the known disruption of the hormone which increases the risk of prostate and breast cancer and metabolic disorders.

3. Alcohol

Excessive drinking water has a number of health consequences, including cancer. Many studies have shown an association between alcohol and cancer of the esophagus, stomach, liver, colon and breast.

And while many consider red wine as healthy for its antioxidant content, it still contains ethanol. Ethanol is the leading cause of cancer in alcoholic beverages. The CDC recommends no more than one drink a day if you are a woman and two drinks a day if you are a man.

4. Energy drinks

Drinking energy can make you feel invincible for hours, but it can cause lasting damage to your body. For starters, they are primarily made from sugar, caffeine and artificial dyes, which can raise your blood pressure and blood sugar levels at the same time.

People die from consuming too much energy, especially from heart problems and seizures. Anything that weakens the systems in your body can open the door to cancer. In addition, sugar is a favorite food of cancer, and many energy drinks leave most of them to feed the cells to death.

5. Normal soft drink

There is so much wrong with soda - it has no health value. Like energy drinks, it contains lots of sugar, caffeine and artificial ingredients. One of these chemical additives is a dye called 4-MeI. It gives the cola a brown color, but is also known as carcinogen.

Regulations on the use of 4-Mel vary widely in area, but at least in California they need to be labeled as a potential carcinogen in all foods that contain it.

6. Dietary soda

The soda diet contains little or no "real" sugar, but instead contains a sugar substitute such as sucralose, saccharin or aspartame.

These fake sugars are known to interrupt your body's metabolic processes, causing more fat to be stored and potentially leading to diabetes and heart disease. They are also linked to bladder cancer and the entire urinary tract.

7. Very hot drinks

This is one you will probably naturally avoid, but the World Health Organization’s cancer agency, the IARC, has suggested that drinking very hot drinks can lead to throat cancer.

To apply, the drink must be at least 149 degrees Fahrenheit, and most people will not enjoy their tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

The research centers are mainly around a drink called maté traditionally drunk at extremely hot temperatures in Asia, South America and Africa. There is little danger due to your standard hot drink, but we recommend that you be patient while it cools down to a safe time - don’t take a big roar until you’re sure.

8. Delicious coffee drink

Coffee is generally antioxidant and rich in nutrition and offers some prevention against cancer. Unfortunately, some coffee drinks contain more sugar and cream than actual coffee. Adding syrup, chocolate, caramel or whipped cream to your java almost completely eliminates all the benefits you may have started.

For example, a 20-ounce white chocolate mocha, made with whole milk and topped with fried cream, delivers a buzz-delicious 580 calories and 26 grams of fat. Regular consumption of rich coffee drinks can lead to obesity and diabetes in the form of cancer.

9. Juice cakes and juice

Judging “is thought of as a healthy thing, and it can deliver some critical vitamins and minerals. However most of the nutrition in whole fruits and vegetables is in the fiber (pulp) and skin.

When you eliminate them, you not only lose valuable food, but you consume more often because it is the fiber that will help you feel full. Moreover, the fiber slows down the absorption so that your blood sugar does not increase.

10. Buy the store right

Players are a better choice than juice because all the good fibers remain, albeit slightly “dug” into the blender. But always make your smoothies at home! There’s a reason the store buys sweet potatoes that taste like dessert and have a smooth, creamy texture - they add a lot of extra stuff that a balloon contains fat and sugar.

It’s the fact that this junk hides food that we think is healthy; it is so easy to load unhealthy ingredients without realizing it.

11. Sports drinks

Sports drinks may not directly lead to cancer, but they do provide a step-by-step guide. Although marketed as healthy, sports drinks are full of sugar and carbohydrates. And unless you’re literally exercising all day, they don’t require it.

Stick to regular water for the most part, as excessive calories in sports drinks can lead to obesity and type 2 diabetes, both linked to an increased risk of developing cancer.
