Have you ever heard Preachers and Motivational speakers say that; "The richest place in the world is not where the oil wells are, but the Cemetery"?

They often give the reason being that most people die with great ideas that could have been converted to endless money if such ideas saw the light of the day.

You get to hear them say cool stuffs like this; "In the Cemetery lies Poems/Songs that were never written or sung, books that were never written, inventions that were never created, products that were never manufactured and so on."

Growing up, this statement used to sound very cool to me until one day, having observed certain events of life, I began to question the authenticity and validity of that statement.

Now let me ask you; "Have you ever had an idea, before you could bring that idea to light, only for you to see someone doing almost exactly the same thing?" You probably wondered if someone stole your idea even when you know that you told no one about it.

Even as a writer, it is not uncommon to observe this phenomenon.

Did you know that ideas are not physical until they are converted into products or services? Ideas are like Radio Waves. I often say that no one has monopoly of ideas.

What happens when someone dies with their ideas? The answer is simple. The truth is that someone else already has or will have that same idea one day and will bring it to pass. Nature forbids monopoly of ideas. Genuine Ideas are from God and they are transferable.

In actuality, the death of a man is not the death of an idea. Ideas can be transferred from one person to another and from one generation to another.

In conclusion, the book of Ecclesiastes 9:10 states clearly that there is no idea (device) in the grave (Cemetery).

So, this simply means that if you don't use your idea, some else will receive that same idea and bring it to light.

Finally, next time you hear someone say that the Cemetery is the richest place in the world, tell them that it is not true.

What do you think about this concept?
