Making use of fenugreek seeds and aloe vera for hair growth is a potent combo that works wonders.

Fenugreek seeds have amazing properties, possessing hormone antecedents that enhance hair growth and help in strengthening and rebuilding hair follicles. (The seed also has medicinal properties).

How to use

Pour hot water over a cup of fenugreek seeds and let it soak overnight.

Sieve the seed out and grind to paste with your aloe vera (Please don’t throw away the water, it is an excellent leave-in conditioner)

Apply this paste to your hair

Place a plastic cap over your hair, and let sit for an hour.

Rinse your hair with water

Shampoo and condition as normal.

Note: The downside to this DIY deep conditioner is you have to rinse your hair thoroughly to get all the particles out of your hair.

Aloe vera, coconut oil, and coconut milk

Coconut oil, aloe vera, and coconut milk make an excellent combination that helps to seal moisture into the scalp. However, mixing aloe vera with either coconut oil or the milk still offers great benefits, if you don’t have all three ingredients.

This hair mask offers a lot; the aloe vera makes your hair soft and silky. Also, the coconut milk possesses conditioning properties that help to maintain your hair health, and nourish your hair and scalp. Additionally, coconut oil is known to help your hair grow thicker, longer, and faster. One wonderful thing about this mask is that it allows for deep penetration into your scalp, nourishing it from within.

This helps to maintain your hair, so you don’t have to get your hair trimmed so often. Awesome right?

How to make this

For those that like to measure, I got the following specifications for you from the net. Although when making my DIY’s, I usually eyeball my measurements.

You need, 5 tbsp aloe vera gel,

3 tbsp coconut oil,

4tbsp

2 tbsp honey (optional if you feel your hair needs a little extra something, and you have it at home)

Put the measured ingredients into a bowl and mix it properly.

Then work it into your scalp and hair, making sure to massage your scalp also

Place more attention to the tips of your hair, as these are the oldest and most damaged

After covering your hair with this mixture, place a shower cap over your head for 30 minutes to an hour.

Then you wash and condition as normal.
