How A Fake N-Power Site Scammed A Guy Of A Huge Sum of Money

YvonneScribes 06/28/2020

The moment N-Power announced the date for the opening of their portal, fraudsters began to put together sites which would be very similar to real N-Power site and very accessible. They did this because they had the agenda of scamming eager N-Power candidates who would be in a hurry to register without checking whether the site is legit.

On the 26th day of June, 2020, which was also the day N-Power opened its portal, they were able to scam several unsuspecting individuals. You may be asking how, let me explain it to you. N-Power made known their date for the opening of their portal but didn't specify the time. Due to this, several people thought that it will be opened very early in the morning. This was not so though and before N-Power made the time which their portal would be opened known, people had already finished applying on those fraudulent sites

Well, the screenshots I'm about to share now happened to an N-Power aspirant me(identity undisclosed). Earlier yesterday, a link was sent to his WhatsApp, the supposed N-Power application link, he promptly registered only to have almost a 1.2 Million naira deducted from his account afterwards. See screenshots below:

The first three screenshots are of a conversation between him and a friend of his, Opeyemi. The last screenshot is what remains in his bank account from his Balance of 1.2million. The guy is a mess right now.

Please learn from this, don't fall victim to fake links. In the meantime, If this happens to you, what will you do?? Please let me know from your comments. Like and share also. Thanks for reading!
