United eyeing former Chelsea youth star Jeremie Boga as Sancho alternative

According to ESPN, the Red Devils are eyeing a potential deal for Jeremie Boga. The 23-year-old is a former product of the Chelsea youth academy and has been excelling for Sassuolosince moving to Serie A.
The report suggests that Borussia Dortmund’s €120m valuation of Sancho has forced United to take a look at alternatives. Boga wants to play in an elite European league next season and ideally compete in the UEFA Champions League.
He is said to be ‘very interested’ at the project that United have approached him with. Unlike Sancho, Boga could be available for a relatively lower price. The speedy winger has been a breath of fresh air in Serie A this season, with his blistering pace, dribbling ability and eye for goal gaining him a lot of attention.
Boga has scored 8 goals and managed 4 assists in 26 appearances for Sassuolo this season and can play in both the wings with ease.
