Man Prevented From Committing Suicide In Ogun State - [Pictures]

A 36-year-old man, Fatai Oyedele, was prevented from jumping into the Ogun River in Abeokuta, the Ogun State. Mr Fatai Oyedele was rescued as he was about to jump into the very deep Ogun River.

The man was rescued by men of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE). After the man was prevented from committing suicide, it was later revealed that he is a married man. The man also has five children. The man is also a clothes seller. After his rescue, it was discovered that he also had some rat poison with him. View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

The incident was confirmed by the Spokesperson of Ogun TRACE Corps, Babatunde Akinbiyi. Babatunde also confirmed that the man was rescued by TRACE Corps personnel who were on patrol. He was later taken to the Adigbe Police Station for further investigation.
