1. Bats:

bats are mammals of the order Chiroptera; with their forelimbs adapted as wings, they are the only mammals capable of true and sustained flight. Bats are more manoeuvrable than birds, flying with their very long spread-out digits covered with a thin membrane or patagium. It may surprise you but some parts in Nigeria are eating bats. Even where I came from in delta eku, we do eat bats.

The palm weevil Rhynchophorus ferrugineus is one of two species of snout beetle known as the red palm weevil, Asian palm weevil or sago palm weevil. The palm weevils is usually gotten from a rotten palm tree and it's seasonal, some tribes in Nigeria see it as a maggot, but on the real sense it's not a maggot.

When you mention dog meat in Nigeria, the major focus of the audience is Calabar, but apart from Calabar alot of other Nigerians do eat dog as well.

I believe 80% of us have eaten this, it is usually our favorite meal during our childhood days. Incase you don't know winged Termites, they are termites that comes in season in Nigeria, it is believed that it usually call from the sky at night mostly.

7. Cow brain:

Beef brains and veal or calf's brains are used in the cuisines of France; Italy; Spain; El Salvador; Mexico, etc. where they are called sesos in Spanish and are eaten in tacos and quesadillas. Should I say 100% of us have eaten this? Probably yes, because it is delicious when cooked with stew.

8. Monkeys: View pictures in App save up to 80% data. Monkey is a common name that may refer to groups or species of mammals, in part, the simians of infraorder Simiiformes. The term is applied descriptively to groups of primates, such as families of New World monkeys and Old World monkeys. Some people actually don't like eating monkeys because of its attributes that is likened to that of human.

But some parts in Nigeria like Edo State, Benin City do eats it very well..
