The Oshiomole and Giadom faction battle for supremacy looks to be over for the moment after recommendations were made to dissolve the National Working Committee in which the president accepted and therefore, made the decision that both Oshiomole and Giadom faction is hereby dissolved and national convention to be held in the next six month.

The statement goes thus "following the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has been dissolved. Details to come...." and another statement also goes "Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has been sworn in as Chairman, Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention committee of APC"

We will recently recall that there has been a battle for supremacy in the All Progressive Congress which is between Tinubu faction against Amaechi led faction which has been pointed towards the presidency race for 2023 and many believe Adams Oshiomole was ousted because he was going to be a tool for Tinubu in actualizing his presidential ambition. This latest development now seems to project that there are many more drama that will unfold as time goes by, but as the case may be, Adams Oshiomole no longer hold relevance as far as APC is concerned at the moment.

Although Bola Tinubu is yet to make an official statement concerning this latest development, this proposal was however submitted by the Giadom led NWC before it was dissolved, for the moment, it seems, Amaechi is winning this one at the moment.
