The Fate of University Students as FG lifts interstate ban and Approves Resumption of Schools

The interstate lockdown which began since the month of April is finally set to be lifted on the 1st of July.

And as a result of this, the secretary of the government of the federation chairman presidential task force (PTF) on covid-19, Boss Mustapha, disclosed during the media briefing on the 29th of June that the president Muhammad Buhari has approved that schools resume but only for student in graduating classes i.e.; primary 6, jss3 and sss3. In the meantime other students are expected to stay put and continue with their online learning programs.

The national coordinate of PTF, Dr. Sani Aliyu instructed that only 50% of the passenger of the buses are allowed during travels and the use of face mask is compulsory.
