Manchester United have been waiting more than six years since their last Premier League hat-trick. Robin van Persie was the last man to net three times in a league game for the Red Devils on April 22, 2013. It was in final stages of Sir Alex Ferguson's reign at Old Trafford when they beat Aston Villa 3-0 at home.

Today marked it seven years 2 months since the club witness an hat trick. This is a good news and a heads up for Manchester United fans and players.

Manchester United hosted Sheffield United at the Old Trafford today and martial has opened the score line in the 7th minute, while the second goal came in at the 44th minute before half time and the record of the day which is the hat trick was scored in the 74th minute.
