Musa Driven In Limousine To Riyadh As He Arrives In Saudi Arabia For Season's Restart With Al Nassr

Super Eagles skipper, Ahmed Musa was Wednesday given a kingly reception by his Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr, as he arrived in the country ahead of restart of current football season.

The Saudi Arabian champions detailed a limousine to pick the former Leicester City player up at the King Khalid International on a 42-kilometre ride to Riyadh, the country's capital city where the club reside.

Musa uploaded a video on his Instagram page, which shows him and an unnamed team-mate being driven to Riyadh and stated: "Back to work, Riyadh in some hours."

The Saudi Arabia season was suspended in March over growing pandemic concerns, forcing a postponement on Al Nassr's league game against Al Ettifaq on May 30 and Saudi Arabia King Cup clash with Al Ahli on March 15.

Prior to the time, Al Nassr were second on the log with 45 points from 22 matches, six points adrift of Al Hilal in first position.

Musa joined Al-Nassr on 4 August 2018 foliowing a regrettable stint with Leicester City. He has scored seven times in 41 appearances for the Kerala blasters, winning the Saudi Premier League and Saudi Super Cup with them last year.

The former Kano Pillars player brings a lot of experience to the side from years of also playing at VVV Venlo and CSKA Moscow, Russia Premier League club, where he scored 42 goals in 125 matches from 2012–2016.

Musa has been capped 91 times by Nigeria at senior level since making his debut in 2010, after representing the country at the U20 and U23 levels.
