But in the match between Norwich City versus Manchester United, the revise was the case as the Red Devils used their best players against their opponent in the Quarter Finals of the English FA Cup.

The game was cool in the first half, it looks more like a friendly game because no card or whatsoever was shown in the first half.

United dominated in the first half, Norwich City on the other hand played a very great football. At this level, no team is a pushover because it is not an easy task to get to this level of the competition (Quarter Finals).

After the 15 minutes break, the second half kicked off. Just 6 minutes played, Odion Ighalo produced a wonderful strike and he scored for the Red Devils in the 51st minutes to be precise.

They continued and displayed a show of great football until in the 62nd minutes, first change was made in the encounter. Norwich made their first substitute, Onel Hernández went in and replaced Lukas Rupp.

Four minutes after the change, Todd Cantwell equalized for Norwich City and Emiliano Buendia made the assist, at that moment the scoreline was 1:1.

In the 78th minutes Man U made a double change, Nemanja Matic went in and replaced Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba went in and replaced Fred.

Both teams played out a good football, United had brought in their best to make the day count for the Red Devils.

Both teams needed a breakthrough. 6 minutes played in the extra time, the Red Devils made a change, Anthony Martial went in and replaced Eric Bailly.

In the 109th minutes, Bruno Fernandes was shown a yellow card.

United and Norwich players played their best, and in the 118th minutes, there was a breakthrough, Harry Maguire scored what seems to be the winner, and Anthony Martial made the assist.

At that moment the scoreline was 1:2. It was indeed a tough match.

One team must progress to the Semi Finals and the other will be out of the competition, so they played 30 minutes extra time, and Manchester United narrowly scaled through.
