A group of hoodlums, ostensibly on a vengeful mission, unleashed a reign of terror on Ijebu-Igbo in Ogun State, leaving in its wake, one person seriously injured and 25 vehicles severely damaged.

The mayhem broke out in the early hours of Wednesday 24th June, 2020 when scores of hoodlums invaded the Motor Park in the town.

Armed with dangerous weapons the hoodlums started attacking perceived opponents as well as destroying vehicles and other valuable properties within the park.

In the process, a total of 25 vehicles were badly vandalized, even as hundreds of people took cover elsewhere while many scampered for safety.

When the Police Division at Ijebu-Igbo got wind of the development, battle-ready mobile policemen led by the Divisional Police Officer, SP Kazeem Solotan swiftly dislodged the criminals and brought the situation under control.
