Man Rescued After Attempting To Commit Suicide In Ogun River

Everyone is entitled to peace and security regardless of their social or economic status.


A man of 36 years old man, named Fatai Oyedele, was saved after he struggled to perpetrate suicide in the popular Ogun River at Abeokuta, the Ogun State. 


Reported by observers, the man entered the river at around 1 pm and struggled to fall over into it. He was however redeemed by men of (TRACE), the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps.


View pictures in App save up to 80% data. Verifying the occurrence, Babatunde Akinbiyi, the spokesman of Ogun TRACE Corps, announced the 36 years old married man with 5 children, explained that he was really frustrated and discouraged with his life.


He was later snatched to the police post in the Adige. 

Suicide is not the last hope for survival. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel.
