Another Nigerian Commissioner Tests Positive For COVID-19

The 28-year-old Fakorede Seun who is the Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo state disclosed that he had taken off into self-isolation in a way not to disperse the virus.
“I tested positive of COVID-19 and I like you to realize that there’s no reason for any shock as I’m very fine, protected and sound without any indications of deterioration,” Fakorode, who is the youngest member of the cabinet in Oyo State, tweeted this on Friday.
“Before the experiment result came out, I had no indication that I would be tested positive. This was due to the requests of the office I own, I have been very careful when COVID-19 moved slowly into our world. I did the test just as others and I didn’t have any fear.
“I was symptomless, I am still symptomless, but I remain courageous.
“I have instantly obeyed and held strictly to the charges of the Incident Management of Oyo State Response to Coronavirus Pandemic.
“COVID-19 is not in any way passing of death sentence, So, while I recognize my leader, Governor Seyi Makinde, for the actions he has done to fight the pandemic, I like to also exhort us all to proceed to do everything to reduce the spreading of this virus.
“I will stay in isolation until I completely recover, I will battle this, in a victorious way, please proceed to conform with all the charges of COVID-19 Task Force. Remain safe!”
