The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-olu in the spirit of celebrating his 55 years on earth has penned down an emotional message, which contains his wishes as he journeys on in the course of life. As birthday celebration is a special monent to reflect on the years spent and prepare for the journey ahead.The Lagos State first citizen whose birthday comes up every 25th day of the month of June has every cause to rejoice. In revealing what his wishes are, he wrote "55 years of life's lessons

June 25th - A constant reminder of my life's journey, and God's unending love for me.

I am a product of God's unwavering grace, and a tool in his workshop, to be used in the service of mankind and by his special grace,I will fulfill destiny, and His plans for me shall continue to manifest. Amen.

I have so much to be thankful for. I am thankful for 55 years of purposeful living.

I am thankful for my family and my loved ones, especially my dear wife Ibijoke and our wonderful kids, whom God has blessed us with.

I am thankful for friends and acquitances

And I am most thankful for the people of Lagos for their unwavering support, encourage and prayer" Below is the first one

He then continues by stating his wishes as he continues the journey of life " My wish will always be:

To lead and be led

To serve without limit

To give without expectations

To love beyond limit

To be a beacon of hope

To be a reflection of God's shining light

To work conscientiously and selflessly

To be giving of myself at all times, and

To work like no one is watching

Amen"
