Manchester United Football Club and her fans are in a good mood after thumping Sheffield United 3 goals to Nil with all of those goals coming from Martial, his first hattrick in the Premier League and the second for Manchester United since Post-Ferguson era. Manchester United came into the match on the back of a draw against fellow top four contender, Tottenham Hotspur. They needed nothing but a win if they were to put any pressure on Chelsea who currently occupy the last Champions League spot, and they delivered. Kudos to the Red Devils. Chelsea on the other hand, had to fight for a win against lowly Aston Villa which has raised questions over their capability to stay in the position till the end of the season. Their next match would be against Manchester City who has been on fire since the return of football. I hope they don't get to witness their wrath.

They will be facing 2nd place Manchester City after defeating 19th place Aston Villa. They currently occupy the last slot but may find it difficult to qualify if results are not improving. They have a some tricky tests along the way too.

With this class of opponents, I don't see Chelsea winning more than 3 matches here, perhaps they'll struggle to beat Watford and Sheffield United but the others is a mountain i'm not sure they can climb.

While Chelsea has a run of difficult opponents, Manchester United has it soft. This might be a major force that would determine their position at the end of the season. View pictures in App save up to 80% data. View pictures in App save up to 80% data.
