FG Allows Reopening Of Schools, Lifts Ban On Interstate Movements (View)

The federal government has finally allows the reopening of schools using the word , “safe reopening of schools".

The federal government says it has approved the reopening of schools for the graduating students nationwide in the next phase of the gradual easing of lockdown instructed to curb the further spread of coronavirus.

This was revealed by the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, during the daily briefing of the task force in Abuja on Monday.


Boss Mustapha said the reopening of schools is only meant for the graduating students, so as to enable the resumption of classes and preparation for their exams.

However, the federal government has also allowed the interstates movement.

This was also revealed by Boss Mustapha, and he said only 50% of the passengers are allowed in the buses.

He said the curfew still remain intact and it's from 10pm to 4am.
