Update: 1.9 Million People Were Defrauded By Hushpuppi: Dubai Police Claims - [Video]

The Dubai police have shown details of how they arrested Nigerian Dubai-based big boy, Raymond Igbalodely, popularly known as Hushpuppi. According to reports earlier this month, Dubai Interpol and the FBI apprehended Hushpuppi in his residence in the United Arab Emirates. According to reports, Hushpuppi's arrest followed a comprehensive operation named “Fox Hunt 2”. The operation revealed a hidden online fraud network that was committing crimes internationally. The fraud network was headed by Hushpuppi.

In the video, it was disclosed that Hushpuppi was apprehended alongside twelve other persons. The arrested suspects specializes in hacking corporate emails and cloning of websites. The suspects ends up redirecting payments which was supposed to go to the original company to their own accounts.

According to the reports coming out from Dubai, Hushpuppi and his crew stole around 1.6bn Dhirams (Dubai currency). The reports also confirmed that Hushpuppi and his crew had over 1.9 million victims. According to reports, Hushpuppi had cars worth 25m Dhirams, and other items worth 150m Dhirams. Hushpuppi committed fraud which is believed to be in the region of N168 billion.
