Due to the outbreak of the recent pandemic disease in the country, the Federal Government of Nigeria suspended all school activities within the country.

The Federal Government took this decision in order to curtail the spread of the disease and make sure that the students are safe.

Most students across the nation are eager to know when the Federal Government would decide to reopen schools. Though there have been speculations about the reopening of schools.

Despite the suspension of schools in the country by the federal government, some state governments have decided to reopen schools within the state. Some of them have fixed a date for the resumption of schools.

Here is the Nigerian state that will reopen school next week (29/06/2020).

Oyo State.

The Oyo state government have fixed a date for the reopening of schools within the state. The announcement was made on 24th June 2020 through the chief press secretary of the state whose name is Mr. Taiwo Adisa.

The Oyo State government fixed 29th June being next week for the reopening of schools within the state. Teachers are expected to return on that day while the pupils and students are expected to start on 6th of July 2020.

The State government stated that all measures have been put in place to ensure that the students are not exposed to the pandemic disease.

Every student is expected to wear a face mask before entering the school compound.

It is believed that other states will also reopen their schools.
