But despite the statement from Comrade Adam Oshiomhole, Bukola Saraki claims that he kept cool and ignored all the verbal attacks directed at him and waited for days like this when he would meet his waterloo.
So, following the rancor going on in the All Progressive Congress(APC) and the suspension of the APC national party Chairman, the former Senate President, Bukola Saraki said he had always known that a day like this would come when Oshiomhole's masquerade will dance naked in the market.
In a statement released by Yusuph Olaniyonu, media aide to Saraki on his social media handle, which quoted the former Senate President by saying “The truth is always constant and no matter how far falsehood travels, the truth will catch up with it one day.
“Oshiomhole can fool people for a long time but he cannot fool the people all the time. What is happening to him now is a moment of truth. This same man who was garrulously proclaiming the end of the political career of some other people is now about to meet his waterloo.
“He has continued to use his mouth to divide his party and I believe there is a lesson for all politicians to learn from the fate of the suspended APC chairman. No autocrat can successfully pretend to be a Democrat. The true character of a man will come out one day.”
Bukola Saraki further welcome Godwin Obaseki, the Governor of Edo State to the People Democratic Party (PDP) and thanked his colleagues and other PDP Governors for the roles they played in ensuring that Obaseki deflected to the party.
Now that a new acting National Party Chairman, Victor Giadom was announced, Saraki and his allies in PDP came back at Oshiomhole to retaliate the scars he had left on them from the last election.
Femi Fani Kayode, the former minister of Aviation was not left behind, he released a very lengthy statement this morning on his Facebook page to advise the APC National Party Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the negative implication the new acting National Party Chairman could cause to his 2023 Presidential ambition.
