Manchester United could reportedly try to bring Lazio forward Ciro Immobile to Old Trafford during this summer’s transfer market.

The 30-year-old star has been in brilliant form for his Italian side during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring 30 times in 33 games, including 27 goals in just 26 Serie A matches.

Everton have recently been mentioned with the Italy international, who has a contract with I Biancocelesti until the end of the 2022-23 season.

However, according to Calciomercato, the Red Devils are also currently exploring the possibility of landing the experienced striker this summer.

The report states that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are still searching for a successor for Romelu Lukaku despite managing to extend Odion Ighalo’s loan deal until the winter of 2021.

Immobile’s form this campaign sees him sit second behind Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski in the race for the European Golden Boot, while he has managed 116 goals in 167 matches for Lazio since arriving from Sevilla back in 2016.

Marcus Rashford has recovered from a back problem during the lockdown period and will be fit for United’s PL clash against Tottenham Hotspur on June 19, leaving Ole with plenty of attacking options as the 20-time English champions prepare to resume their campaign.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are reportedly willing to sell Andreas Pereira during this summer’s transfer market in order to ‘make room’ for Ajax star Donny van de Beek.

The Red Devils continue to be strongly mentioned with Van de Beek, and Ajax youth coach Ronald de Boer recently claimed that the English giants could pip Real Madrid to the star’s signature.

According to The Mirror, United chief Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been informed that he’ll have to sell one of his current midfielders to ‘make room’ for Donny.

Juventus and Manchester United are reportedly set to battle for Wolves centre-forward Raul Jimenez following his stunning form this campaign.

The 29-year-old has forward managed to found back of the net in both of his side’s games since the Premier League returned from the coronavirus pandemic and has already 15 goals to his name.

According to the Daily Mail, the Mexican has attracted interest from Premier League Man Utd with rumours surrounding the attacker’s move to Old Trafford in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Both Man Utd and Wolves are battling for the Champions League spot this season as they are fifth and sixth in the Premier League respectively with 49 points only two separating them from Chelsea.

Serie A champions, Juventus have also shown interest – and reports claim that they have contacted with the player’s agent over a possible move to Allianz Stadium.

The Serie A giants are reportedly willing to offer a swap deal, involving both Federico Bernaderschi and Daniele Rugani, after hesitating at a £54m price tag.

As well as conjuring up 15 Premier League goals, Jimenez has also provided six league assists for his side this season.

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has warned that the Blues feel they are capable of a lot going forward, after they beat Pep Guardiola's Manchester City 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. The Blues made great strides in their quest for a Champions League position with a win over the second placed Citizens, while they also still remain in the FA Cup.

Frank Lampard’s team have opened up a five-point gap over Manchester United in the Premier League and are well placed to secure a top four finish. Pulisic’s solo effort and Willian’s penalty, either side of a sublime Kevin De Bruyne free kick, were enough to secure a third successive league win for Lampard's outfit. “Obviously we want to finish the season strongly but we feel we’re capable of a lot more as well.

“There are a lot of games to play. "We want to go as far as we can in the FA Cup and we want to continue finishing strong so we can be secure in a Champions League spot. "We have a lot to play for.”

Chelsea take on Leicester City in the FA Cup this coming weekend, before they then return to Premier League duty when travelling to West Ham United.

Manchester United have registered their interest in Matteo Guendouzi as the midfielder has told Arsenal he would be open to leaving this summer, according to reports in France.

Guendouzi was dropped by Mikel Arteta for Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Southampton on Thursday evening following an internal disciplinary meeting earlier this week.

The 21-year-old met with Arsenal’s hierarchy to discuss his clash with Neal Maupay during the Gunners’ defeat to Brighton last Saturday.

Guendouzi reportedly called Brighton’s players ‘s***’ during the game, while the midfielder is also said to have told his opponents that he earns ‘more than they ever will’.

Guendouzi, who also grabbed Maupay by the throat at the full-time whistle, was told by the Brighton striker that he ‘needs to learn what humility is’.

According to L’Equipe, Guendouzi told Arsenal’s hierarchy in their meeting that he would be open to leaving the club at the end of the season.

Arsenal are also open to selling the French midfielder but will demand at least €40 million (£36m).

The report claims that Manchester United have expressed their interest, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side face competition from Juventus and Inter, as Antonio Conte a huge admirer of Guendouzi.

United are reportedly looking to strengthen in central midfield in the upcoming transfer window and have already been linked with a move for Ajax’s Donny van de Beek.

Guendouzi, meanwhile, has decided to consider his future at Arsenal after being handed fewer opportunities by Arteta.

Since Arteta’s arrival in December, Guendouzi has started just four Premier League games, while under Unai Emery, the midfielder had started every league match before the Spaniard was sacked at the end of November.

When asked about the decision to drop Guendouzi from the squad after Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Southampton on Thursday evening, Arteta claimed that it should not be interpreted as a warning for the rest of the squad.

‘I don’t like to make any decisions to send messages,’ said Arteta.

‘The messages that I send to the team or individually are very open and I’m clear with how I feel. Winning is the most important thing and when you win, everything is fine.

‘It was squad management. Whatever issue we have internally, I will resolve it in a private way. I explained that I cannot explain and that’s it.’
