Stade Renard unveils new technical staff led by Gabriel Zabo
Cameroon Elite One side Stade Renard of Melong has unveiled a new technical team for the 2020-2021 football season.
The newly appointed team of coaches led by former Colombe of Dja and Lobo gaffer, Gabriel Zabot will replace Ebwelle Bertin’s team after just a season.
Coach Ebwelle recorded 9 wins, 8 draws and 11 defeats in 28 league games he was in charge of the Club.
Zabo becomes the Club’s 7th manager since their promotion to the top flight on the eve of the 2017 season.
The former Fovu of Baham fitness coach only left two weeks ago, citing family reasons though reported he was heavily linked with a move to Melong.
Zabo guided Colombe to a surprised 3rd spot finish last term.
The gaffer’s switch ends links to multiple Cameroon Elite One Clubs.
Stade Renard of Melong also presented Ivo Mesumbe as his deputy while the erstwhile goalkeeper and goalkeepers trainer, Kameni Mathurien returns to the Club after a season away at Feutcheu FC of Djiko Bandjoun.
Zabo has over ten years of experience in the Cameroon Elite One championship, and he certainly a man to count on in the Stade Renard project.
