The group said it was clear that salami would play a role in overseeing and overseeing state governor elections.

The statement said: "The SDG, which emerged from a virtual emergency meeting, decided to demand the immediate removal of the police commissioner, as his continued surveillance of police affairs in the state of Ondo poses a serious threat to the existing peace and quiet, who rule here. "

"It is revealing to note that the refusal to second Mr. Bolaji Salami implies that the police headquarters has completed plans to stir the still water in the state and to influence the next governor election in Ondo."

If a state's deputy governor receiving such treatment, then what is the fate of the ordinary man on the streets of Akure?

"We hereby request President Buhari and IGP Adamu to send Mr. Salami again with immediate effect, since it is now clear that he will not be impartial in the surveillance and supervision of the state in the upcoming governor elections."

Akpoti was excluded from the election by the Independent National Election Commission (INEC).

The trio of Joseph Daudu (SAN), Dr. Alex Izinyon (SAN) for and Ahmed Raji (SAN), the lawyer for Governor Bello, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and INEC, raised preliminary objections to the jurisdiction of the appeal.
