The Npower beneficiaries (batches A and B), woke up one day to see the official announcement of the intending disengagement of their services by June 30, 2020. While this news didn’t exactly come as a shock, we all expected to hear what or how the federal government would appreciate these group of people in the form of an exit package.

It is still not clear to us what the exit package for batch A and batch B beneficiaries will be but judging from how the federal government is going about the delay in paying these beneficiaries for the last 3 to 4 months, one cannot help but suspect that the exit package may be their accrued stipends, maybe with a little extra to sum it up, as it is obtainable in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

Some of the batch A and batch B beneficiaries have taken to twitter to complain to the official handle of npower to release their monthly stipends for the last three months or so. Here are some of their comments on twitter:

The govt. of PMB have done well by introducing Npower but the exiting of batch A and B at the same time when the batch A have been there for about 43 months with devices given while the batch B for just 24 months with no devices given or yet to be given is not right. Hon.Minister, pls have a rethink concerning the batch B and also give them their devices
