Finally, Buhari Reveals Who He Is Supporting As Acting APC National Chairman

Sequel to the crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, since the suspension of the former National Chairman if the party, Adams Oshiomole, by an Appeal Court, on the right person to be occupy the position of Acting National Chairman of the party, President Buhari, on Wednesday, has finally revealed who he's supporting between the two factional Chairmen. It will be recalled that former Governor of Oyo state, Abiola Ajimobi, being represented by Eta Hilliard, and the former Deputy National Secretary, Victor Giadom, has been at loggerheads, on who suppose to occupy the vacant Acting National Chairman's seat.

However, while making his position known on the matter, President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, revealed that, after full consideration of the whole crisis, he discovered that the law is on the side of the former Deputy National Secretary, Victor Giadom, and consequently, he is in full support of Victor Giadom as the Acting National Chairman. This was confirmed by the Presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, in a Tweet on Wednesday. Garba Shehu wrote:

"The President has received very convincing advice on the position of the law as far as the situation in the party is concerned and has determined that the law is on the side of Victor Giadom, as Acting National Chairman".

Because he will always act in accordance with the law, the President will be attending the virtual meeting Giadom called for tomorrow afternoon, Garba Shehu added. View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

In addition, the Giadom meeting, will hopefully be attended by our Governors and the leaders of the National Assembly, the Presidential spokesperson concluded.
