In an interview with TUKO, the woman rubbished claims that one must be under the influence of alcohol in order to work in a morgue.

However, since Covid-19 took a tool in the country, the woman was rendered jobless. She is no longer making the abovementioned amount of money.

"Tina Akello is among thousands of Kenyans whose businesses collapsed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Before the crisis struck, she could visit different morgues to beautify the dead bodies before their burial. She used to make between KSh 20, 000 to KSh 30,000 per day while dismissing claims that anyone working in the morgues must be under the influence of alcohol," reads the post shared by TUKO.

She is now among the plethora of Kenyans who lost their lucrative jobs due to the effects of the virus that's still being felt. Recently, there have been massive layoffs in various companies. Most companies are struggling to stay afloat.
