Kenyans have taken to social media to condemn the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President, Nelson Havi.

This is after the LSK president condemned the historic ruling of the corruption case that was facing John Waluke and his co-accused Grace Wakhungu.

The LSK President condemned the ruling via his official Twitter account and warned Kenyans not to celebrate fraudulent convictions.

He tweeted, "John Waluke and Grace Wakhungu contracted with NCPB. NCBP breached the contract. Arbitrator ordered payment. Award was enforced by High Court. NCPB lost before High Court and Court of Appeal and paid the decree. How can that be a crime? Do not celebrate fraudulent convictions."

Sirisia MP John Waluke and his co-accused Grace Wakhungu, were ordered by Chief Magistrate Elizabeth Juma, to pay a fine of close to Sh2 billion or serve 39 years in jail.

The two were found guilty of defrauding the National Cereals and Produce Board.

Well, Kenyans led by renowned activist Boniface Mwangi, condemned the LSK president for his utterances, considering the fact that this is the first ever high profile ruling that has shown hope in the fight against graft.

Below are some of the reactions from angry Kenyans:

Boniface tweeted, "Imagine Law Society of Kenya president @NelsonHavi is complaining that two thieves were successfully prosecuted, found guilty and convicted! Imagine that." View pictures in App save up to 80% data.
